WHY EVANGELISM MATTERS
At Psalm 72, evangelism isn’t an event — it’s a lifestyle. We believe every believer is called to carry the Gospel wherever they go, whether in a crowd, on the street, or in a conversation with a stranger.
Jesus commanded us to go. We believe God still moves powerfully today, and it’s our joy to introduce people to His love through the power of the Holy Spirit.
HOW WE DO IT
Street Evangelism
Street evangelism is about taking the message of Jesus outside the walls of the church and directly to the people. In Lewistown, PA — with its abundant foot traffic and tight-knit community — we have a unique opportunity to meet people where they are, offer prayer, encouragement, and share the hope of the gospel. Whether it’s on sidewalks, in parks, or at local events, our teams will be out actively loving, listening, and ministering to those in need, believing God for divine encounters and transformed lives.
Prayer Tents
Prayer tents are a simple but powerful way to create a welcoming space where people can encounter the love of Jesus. Set up at local events, parks, or busy areas, these tents offer a place for anyone to stop by for prayer, encouragement, healing, and prophetic words. They’re a safe, peaceful environment where people can be uplifted, hear God’s heart for them, and experience His presence in a personal way. Through these tents, we release hope, healing, and love — all in the name of Jesus.
Community Serve Projects
Community Serve Projects are practical, hands-on opportunities to show the love of Jesus by meeting real needs in our neighborhoods. These projects might look like cleaning up parks, repairing homes, helping local families, or supporting community events. It’s about being the hands and feet of Jesus — blessing our town not just with words, but with action. Through these projects, we build relationships, open doors for ministry, and create opportunities to serve side by side as a reflection of God’s heart for people.
Who Can Come?
Spirit filled believers or those wanting to experience more of the Holy Spirit who are desiring to show the love of Jesus through direct interaction with His children.

when is this?
We aim to hit the streets once every other week on Saturdays while our prayer tents are once a month. Our evangelism training is seasonal as well.
Where is this?
Lewistown, Pennsylvania!
Before going on our outreaches we meet at our ministry building, 134 Shaw Ave, to strategize and pray before being sent out. Then we will go to various strategic locations throughout Lewistown.
EVANGELISM TRAINING
Our Seasonal Evangelism Training is designed to equip believers with the tools, confidence, and spiritual boldness to share the Gospel in everyday life. These trainings are held throughout the year, offering practical teaching, hands-on activation, and real outreach opportunities to put faith into action. Whether you’re new to evangelism or looking to sharpen your skills, these sessions will help you walk boldly and compassionately into the harvest fields of your community.
